It's illegal to sell any MS OEM product without at minimum, a motherboard, hard drive, or CPU on the same invoice.

I'm glad that you have come to your senses. LOL. But once you try Win2K, you'll never go back! I love it. It even plays some of my games. Just the cool ones of couse. (I don't play too many, because I do more programming on this box.)

Creeping....do you work in a retail shop?
If so, why not just order in the NFR copy from a MS Distributor?....It'll cost you next to nothing!!

Hey SOWULO!
1st off, I LOVE your new avatar (So-Crates rules)...
2nd, You can sell any MS OEM software with any new hardware component (including mice, RAM. whatever)
This information comes direct from a phone call we got from MS a month and a half ago. If you have an OEM number, you can probab;ly follow up on this...
Their new agreement includes 95-2k and office/works etc, ALL OEM!
You guys, that mobo/processor thing is from the old agreement.
Hey 3Fingersalute, what is this NFR thing? More information pleeze? i'm in a retail shop and am currently using illegal win2kpro (but feeling guilty) cuz i dont have dough for the real thing...

NFR = NOT FOR RESALE it means that MS will sell you ONE unit of any and all the products they make (including hardware) at a greatly reduced price so that you can become familiar with that product. For instance I bought Win95 upg NEW IN THE BOX when it was first released for $15.00 from Ingram Micro. Win2k Pro should be around $45.
Also for those of you who are not familiar with it look into the Direct Access Pack. It gives you ALL of MS' current business OS - IE a ten user Win2k Pro, Backoffice, Office 2k, Win2k Server - all 10 user license's.
Death is lighter than a feather - duty heavier than a mountian.
The answer to your question is: 00110100 00110010

NFR is great...you can get 2000 Server for around $100.00....also, you can buy 1 from each major distributor (Ingram, Tech Data, Merisel)
They keep the shops legal, cheap!
Almost everything MS is available NFR
(ie- Mice, OS's, Software, Gampepads, etc)
