[RESOLVED] Dell Laptop

Does anybody know where to get parts for a
Dell Inspirion Laptop, other than from Dell
themselves ? Need a LCD screen and its not
under warranty, they want $750+ for one

You're not going to like this but, just about all laptops are different. There is no standard so the put whatever they want in them. The result, you can only get parts from the maker of your laptop which happens to be dell. You might be able to get a old used laptop and take the screen off that one, or it might even be cheaper in the long run to get a new laptop over all. Those Celerons are getting cheaper.

There is a slight posibility that someone makes/has the parts. You could go to http://bbs.agn3d.com they have a bulletin board just like this. Register there and then go to the "forsale or trade" section and ask for your screen there. Someone might have one from when their laptop died.
