    Post homing error - out of range

    freaky error on HP 2500CM deskjet(network attached inkjet)

    the printer stops on lagre job, or multiple copys and throws this error. then all users are notifyed ect. prining of current job stoped, and job is lost becasue the only way to restore functionality is to power off for 1/2 hour, mean while the entire office cant print.

    any ideas??

    Sounds like a printer memory error, or a logic board.

    need more info...are these computers by any chance Macs?

    also...what software are the users using that creates the most errors?

    it sounds more like a software error or network error more than a printer error.
