Post email question

i have a client that uses a Air-to-Lan high speed inet connection locally. They do not have a site that he can go to to check his email remotely. Is there something he can buy or something free that will foward his email to a specific web site. I have mention yahoo or hotmail, but he wants to stay with what he has.

Hotmail allows you to receive email from 3rd party POP3 servers, but you need the POP3 address. Other than that I would say write/record and autoforward macro (Outlook) or agent (Lotus Notes).

Umm.. I think I am reading the question correctly, so here goes:

He wants to access his email from a remote site, correct?.

This can be done with Lotus Notes web access, or MS Exchange web Access, but this comes down to how much money they want to spend.

Is the mail hosted locally? Is the mail a pop account provided by an outside ISP? These will influence the answers provided.

They could use Mail Start. It allows you to check your existing pop3 email thru a web interface and delete it off the server etc.

It's free once a week or so, and after that they want you to pay something like $10 a year.

I would recommend "THE BAT" mailing system.
Trial 30-days version is available.
