I ran into a similiar problem with an ACER.
It was indeed an ATX supply... but with AT connectors, and an extra wire running to the MB for the power switch.
You can put a standart AT power supply in the computer and it will work, you just have to change the switch as well and dont worry about the extra wire cause that is what makes it ATX.
