Change Win98 register name?
A customer brought in her friend's PC. I ended up having to reformat it and reinstalling Windows.
The woman who filled out the paperwork misspelled the computer owner's last name (Fischer instead of Fisher) and I used the paperwork.
All the programs and device drivers have been reinstalled.
What's the easiest way for me to change the name to the proper spelling?

start=>run
regedit
edit=>find
(the misspelled word (last name only))
should come up to a field that says registered owner - change that

The easiest way is with a little program I emailed you called ReBrand. Place it on a floppy and run it from the a: drive.
