This is killing me. I installed the CUV4X-E, Radeon 64MB Video, WIN98SE, onboard sound etc., and everything works great!!!! I then installed the 2976 USR 56K PCI modem, and now the dang thing won't shut down. PLease don't tell me to download the M$ update. The problem is the modem, and apparently it using something that causing the PC is hang at shutdown. When you go to shut down, the monitor goes black with only the cursor up in the left corner. Obviously, the PC never powers down.

Any suggestions would be helpful!!
