    Resolved [RESOLVED] ATI All-In-Wonder pro

I am getting a series of four identical images spread horizontally across my monitor. I have a AMD K-2/400 and 128 Meg of memory in a Tyan board.

be sure your refresh rate is set corectly for your monitor type... This could damage the monitor if you leave it like this too long... you can boot into safe mode to change the monitor refresh rate...

Yes, I agree that its probably a configuration problem with the monitor. While you're in safe mode, set your display to 640x480 and 256-color. Then when you boot back into Windows in normal mode try bumping up your resolution and color depth one notch at a time until you find out the limit of your monitor. As you make the changes, Windows will test each new setting for 15 seconds and allow you to discard the change if it doesn't work. This feature was new with Windows 95 and was a huge improvement over changing display settings in Windows 3.x. (For you old guys out there like me who can remember Win3.1)
