Whats up with Matrox?
Been trying for the last week to get 4 G400s for a some workstations. 2 of our distributors are no longer carrying Matrox and the 3rd has received word that Matrox will not be shipping anything til the middle of next month. Called a few other ones and they are all drop shipping directly from Matrox. Tried to call Matrox and all I get is a busy signal on their toll free number.
Has anyone else heard anything?

Isn't it because of that earthquake in Taiwan? We have to wait 2-4 weeks for any new shipment of video cards from ATI because they have a shortage at the moment. Maybe the same thing is happening with Matrox?

There are plenty of G400's available NOW in the UK ( both standard & Max ). I agree with replier though as we did have to wait a couple of weeks for them to arrive.

Man that earthquake is screwing everything up.. DIMM prices were already rising because of supply and demand and then the earthquake it and sent them skyrocketting.. I can't wait until after the first of the year when chip prices start dropping even more.

Well that is good to know as my inquiry was sorta self serving. Had a monitor die on me a few weeks ago and had to send it in for warranty work to the manufacturer. So was forced to go out and get a new 19" and it just seemed a shame to let a 17 do nothing so what better way to replace my G200 then with a G400max? So was kinda a bit worried. But guess I will bite the bullet and order directly from Matrox....
