[RESOLVED] cd-rom and win 3.1
I installed win 3.1 on an old machine just for the fun of it and had to install a cd-rom. How do I install the cd-rom drivers.

go to the boot disk section (at the left of the startup page) ....http://www.windrivers.com/tech/bootdisk/index.htm and download a sutable disk
the two files you have to "alter" are the autoexec.bat + config.sys
config will look like device=(the name of your driver here).sys /d:mscd000
btccdrom.sys is the one that comes on 98 disk
auto will look like mscdex /d:mscd0001
dont forget to "have* mscdex on your machine
u could always make a 98 boot disk and "disect" it
long live 3.11 ..............!!!!!!
