fatal exception

I have come up with a fatal exception problem when i ran a games. it said:
a fatal exception OE page fault has occured at 0028:C16AAACD in VXD_Linz576(01)+0000051F
Can you please tell me how to fix this problem and also sometime when i shut down the computer another message comes up saying "your system has halted".... can i fix this.
please write back as soon as possible

Check Microsoft's Knowledge Base. You should get some good info. Also, try uninstalling the game through the Add/remove programs in the control panel and re-install the game.
As for the shutdown issue, try to see if there is a hotfix or service pack for W/ME <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
