IE 5.0 Security Error Message. Please Help!
When online making a purchase, no matter what site, I get the following message when trying to complete or "checkout" the transaction......
IDENTITY CERTIFICATE CAUSING AN UNKNOWN SIGNATURE ALGORITHM
I have perused all the security settings and tweaks I can find in IE 5.0 and come up empty. I had a similar problem before once, and a re-install was all that fixed the problem. Never did know what it was.
Something has happened as this trouble used to not occur on this particular pc. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Try re-installing the 128-bit encryption for IE - you can get it from windowsupdate.microsoft.com.
Can't think of much else right this moment, sorry

if that fails try this :
Get to the internet options..
(either in IE under tools or in Control Panel)
Switch to the "contant" tab
press "certificates"
check for any certificates that revoked.. etc..
(use highlight/select and the "view" button)
hope it helps
