Post ever built a refrigerated pc?

I'm pretty sure this has come up but I was wondering if any of you have built a home pc inside of a fridge or use various parts from one.

If so how did you get around the condensation problems?

Many people have super-cooled a pc, using a condensor/evaporator setup, but you have to be very careful about condensation as you stated. You can buy a case especially for this purpose a few places such as KryoTech. With their VapoChill system, you can overclock an AMD 1.3Ghz up to 1.6GHz without any problem.

I have seen other people experiment with submerging an entire motherboard into a dry ice/flourine mixture (if my memory serves me) as well as liquid nitrogen. But when you reach temperatures that extreme, capacitors have been known to crack causing system failures.

I have a friend that repairs and installs air conditioning systems and we were able to get an old compressor and set up a freon cooled pc. Condensation is a big problem but with the use of insulated lines we were able to stop most of the condensation. It worked pretty good but because an AMD puts off more Watts it would have worked better with an INTEL. For all the time and money you will spend, water cooling is the better way to go.
