alt.computer.workshop.live - outlook express
cannot find the server. Are you sure that is it. It is trying with port 119. Is that the correct port.

Well, to get to that newsgroup named above you must first setup the news server that your isp provides ex. news.yourdomainhere.com
you need to contact your isp, ask them what the news server is and settings to configure it in outlook express, once that is done, you can log onto the news server through outlook express and subscribe to that newsgroup. you are doing the equivalent of trying to dial onto the internet with no modem rack to dial into

Thirddey,
I am on a T1 at work, and I have other newsgroups that I connect to, so I don't think that is the problem.
