BTC 16X10X40 Reading CDs but not COPYING CDs!
I have just installed a 16x10x40 BTC writer and tried a test burn. As soon as I started the burn Nero said "searching for relocation info" and win xp cd copy just spat the CD out . I have tried several cd-r brands.
The model is:BTC BCE1610IM
TIA

How about it's software? I think BTC comes with NTI CD Maker. Have you tried it? Are you sure that version of Nero fully supports your CD-RW unit?

Nero and XP burning dont get along, if you have installed nero, turn off the inbuilt burning in the properties for the cdrw and reboot.

Did you have a burner in your computer before and then UPGRADE? Sounds to me like there might be a problem when Nero scans the SCSI/IDE bus for your old drive.
