    Question IE5

When I click on links set to open a new browser, like the news reports on the Windrivers homepage nothing happens. What do I need to set to get it to launch a new browser? I went into advanced settings and clicked on the launch browser windows in a seperate process but nothing happened.

    thanks in advance
    BTW it is win98se

I used to have this problem with the first IE5. Microsoft now has the 5.01 avail for download. You might try updating.

thanks for the help. I found the solution. I had to go to the run line and run:
    regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
    regsvr32 shdocvw.dll

It seemed to fix the registry key that was giving me the problem.
    thanks again
