Help backing up Outlook express pleeze?
Hello all y'all techs and techettes!
If someone would be so kind, I am trying to back up some files for a client whose hard drive is in my tech machine. I can browse al files but it will not boot due to mega corruption.
I would like to back up Outlook Express' address book, but how does one do it without the import/export feature?
I.E.- what files and where? in the OE folder itself i found a "wab.exe" but the file produced there has no contents...
THANKS TEAM! LOVE YA!

thats where the wab.exe should be. maybe he just doesn't have anyone in his address book? or maybe there was a custom install and OE was installed somewhere else on the computer? have you done a file search for wab.exe? the inbox, outbox, and the rest of the folders in outlook express are in C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Identities\{F822DCA0-5001-11D3-B90A-9F037D653E5B}\Microsoft\Outlook Express if you want to back these up.
