FAQ's revisited
Something I saw at another board. Instead od someone sitting down and writing up an FAQ for each forum which no one really wants to do, I saw one BBS had a forum inside a forum called FAQ's where mods "dragged" in a topic that was started and finished that was a frequently discussed topic. When dragged in the FAQ part they were made read only.
Using networking as an example:
Windrivers forums

Can I share my cable modem connection????
Is this possible and does this seem like a good idea?

That reminds me of a similar idea..
If someone had some useful advice to add (like guides, sort of, from simple things like "How to do a total Windows reinstall" or more difficult stuff like "How to configure RAID" or "How to install a new processor"), they could either email it to Scott or we could have a forum where they could post it...it would be like WinDrivers Guides. They could also be "decision guides", like how to pick out a computer, or a video card,or something.
Then if someone asks "how do i do this" we link them to the guide.
Good idea, eh?
