    Because only the post information is stored in the db.

    The profile info is a related table...

    However, sometimes it takes a while to get it synched up because the queries get cached...

    Yeah, how awful it was, i've changed myself into a mushroom and feel much happier now. I posted up real pic into profile, so you know what I really look like, then it's not quite so anonymous as Tubs. Seems to have used that pic as an avatar. Advice, if your posts are doing the same select an avatar.
