[RESOLVED] FireWire/1394?
What do you think of adding a forum for FireWire/1394 ports/devices?

In this case it might be best to just add Firewire/IEEE 1394 to the USB Forum.

Are you saying that IEEE1394 is a type of USB? If that is the case, then thats a good idea, but i didnt know the two were related...correct me if im wrong.
Even if they are related, you should put the title as 'USB / Firewire'.

Not that USB and Firewire/IEEE 1394 are the same but they are kinda similar and fit into a high speed serial catagory.
Besides, some people think the number of support forums are getting a little large already(not that I have a problem with it)

I agree with Rellik's suggestion also.
Mind you when it comes to answering questions on drivers I wouldn't know much about the firewire side of things so there is something going for having another forum.
New peripherals category with sub-forums anyone?
By the way I like the system of category pages. Makes it much easier to find stuff on Scrapheap at home(640x480 monitor). I'm sure Scott will get round to putting a link back to the main forums page at some point. No point in harrassing the poor overworked man.
To prove something, one must first try to disprove it.

Well then, how about a 'high speed serial' forum, containing USB and IEEE1394?
