UBB weirdness - again

I didn't get used to the "view" numbers disappearing, the pages showing twice .. and now I've noticed a new problem..

many times I see only myself and "guest" in the who's online bar..

if I hit Shift + refresh sometimes I get all the people online..

if I go in a forum and back I get the full list again..

this happens only sometimes..

Occasionally, when i try to login, I get the boards listing instead of the login screen.
Hitting refresh seems to cure this however.
I have come to the conclusion that this is probably due to the fact that I nuke all the cookies with a batch file when my system boots. It doesnt have the cookie to rely on so it always loads fresh. Maybe Maybe not i dunno,. but it sounds good.

For some odd reason, there's another Sheriff Q running around. It won't let me change my Public name to Sheriff Q.

If there is a second one, then beware for the imposter.

For some reason, it won't let you change back to a display name you've previously used, even if it is registered to you. Has to be some difference in the characters or spacing. Which is why I'm always some weird variation of Cobra instead of just plain old Cobra. Though I do kinda like "Cobrage".
