[RESOLVED] Audio CDs
Ever since I bought this PII 300 PC, the 32x CD-ROM has never been able to play audio/music CDs. It does recognise an audio CD as it starts up the CD player but then the light on the CD-ROM drive turns red and no music! Is this a hardware or software problem?

What is the usual colour of the CD-ROM light, when it's reading a CD??
You'll probably want to check the audio cable running from the back of the CD drive to the sound card. I've seen many new systems that don't have this cable connected. Without it you won't hear any music from an audio CD.
