    Post How to boot and setup win98 on a laptop cdrom only

    Could anyone help me please!
    I have a laptop AST Ascentia P series with an interchangable floppy drive and cdrom drive. I lost my floppy drive and now I need to setup a new hard drive from CDrom drive only. I went to the Bios setting and change to boot from cdrom but I could not boot it up. Can someone help me? Thanks

    What messages did you get?
    Is your CD ROM a bootable CD??
