Actually Radio Shack does carry them. Check <a href="http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CT LG%5F010%5F012%5F002%5F009&product%5Fid=276%2D311" target="_blank">here</a>.

You can see them in action <a href="http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin/forum3/noncgi/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=19&t=000118" target="_blank">here</a>.

Keep in mind. They are expensive. Radio shack usually has the 5v ones available for about $4 a pop. Also, check out <a href="http://www.allelectronics.com" target="_blank">www.allelectronics.com</a> as they usually have them cheaper.

If yer lookin to put them in the front of yer case for power/hd, these won't won't. Front panel indicators run at 6V, these are only 3.6V.

Little white flash and a fizzle

You can also check out your locak Track Auto or Pep boys. They have this kind of stuff for cars. Only a little modifying necessary.....

3.6v leds SHOULD survive under 6V. You could always test em.

Popping leds is fun anyways..but they stink bad.

Ive seen 3v leds go up to 11v.

u can always add a resistor to it to step it down as well

As noted above, just use a resistor to cut the voltage going to the LED

(Supplied Voltage - light voltage) / amps = resistance needed (measured in ohms)
