Toshiba DVD with Windows 2000 Professional

I have just installed Windows 2000 Pro through a clean install. Whenever I browse some magazine DVD's some of the directories are blank, but the files do exist, in that the program/game installs perfectly.

Why?

Have you selected "view all files" under folder options?

I ripped the head assembly out - it spins up fine now...

I have already selected all files and I have selected to view system files, no difference.
