    Can a cpu with a chipped die be repaired??? amd 1.2 ghz...corner chipped..really small

    I'm sure it can although not from any old Joe.
    It would have to be sent to the manufacturer's shop to be fixed and probably at a high cost.

    I had 2 tbirds that had a very small chip off the corner of the core. it seems that if the core isnt chipped very deep it wont hurt anything but they ran MUCH hotter after being chipped. I know this sounds crazy but I have done it twice with zero problems afterwards. take JB weld epoxy and put it around the edges of the core. dont make it higher than or it get it on top of core though. after epoxy cures check to make sure none is hihger than the core. my CPU's run about 5 degrees cooler now and I think are a little stronger around the edges. this might not help your problem but it worked for me.
