FIC SD11 question
Here is a simple one, I know the SD11 supports PC100 ram, but it's a fairly new MB and I thought it should support PC133 ram, does it?

SD11 Boards don't support PC133.
However I noticed that Tyan is ready to release a K7 board that does support pc133 and AGP 4x. Also ASUS has a 133 board in the works.

The SD-11 does support pc133 ram, if it is an older board you have to flash the bios for 128mb pc133.

I have a different opinion of "supporting" pc133 than the previous post. Just because the bios lets you overclock the memory to 133, that doesnt mean you could ever achieve this. My ASUS board support speeds up to 150 mhz, but even with Enhanced Memory Systems pc133+ mhz memory, I havent been able to achieve anywhere close to this.
The SD11 and current generation k7 boards only support memory speeds near 100mhz. For proof go to http://www.fic.com.tw/motherboards/sd11/sd11intro.htm
