[RESOLVED] AMD Cancells K62+ Processors

I'm livid with AMD about cancelling the K62+ processors.

I was really looking forward to (and waiting!)upgrading my trusty self built computer one more time to a 6ooMHZ K62+ with integrated cache.

What have you millions of people with obsolete computers out there got to say?

Still say its the K62+
They dropped the name of a K63+ yonks ago to avoid Marketing (Name) confusion.
The K62+ was actually a K63 souped up to confuse things more!

The K6 2+ is a live and well but only as a mobile - however the rumour is that it is a standard super 7 socket so if your mobo supports 1.6 you are in luck. Harder than snakes teeth to get though.
