socket A heatsink/fan
Whats the best cpu heatsink/fan combo for a socket A cpu? I use a Chrome Orb right now and I like it a lot, but that thing hugs the cpu so tight im scared to try and take it off. My friend broke off a piece of the socket clip on his A7V when he took his off.

If you go to www.amdmb.com or www.hardocp.com there will be a few links to socket a heatsink/fan comparisons.
The Taisol series is quite nice, though. One I put on a T-Bird 800 showed about 95F cpu temp, which isn't bad for a T-Bird and sub-$15 heatsink/fan...

i heard that tha orb fan can crush the core on the duron and atholon socket A chips.... i would really be careful when u take it off and youre luck you got it on without destroying the chip! i bought my fqan and duron socket A from www.mwave.com and they sell the fans seperatly there so you can buy it from there... its only 10 us dollars and it is AMd certified with its newly relased specs. good luck!

Make sure you get a copper spacer from www.overclockers.com
It's cheap, cools the chip better, and prevents you "crushing" the ondie chip on the top of the T Bird....
