I have a Sony proprietary cd rom controller,8x_cd-rom vd8f firmware revision: ao1. I was trying to play a cd with photos, says it's rewrittable, and the drive did not recognize it. Started to do some reading on the subject, come to find out the my hardware may be to old and not able to run the multisessions. I don't even know how I find that out. I was trying to find a driver, but know I'm getting really confused. Is there anything I can do without having to by a new computer right now? I do have an ancient one but it's alright for now. Can someone help?
