[RESOLVED] which PIII Celeron 500Mhz or PIII 500Mhz???

which would you prefer?
I have my choice upon ordering...

for my flight sim, the Celeron series appears to yield a much higher frame rate

If you can order one or the other, and cost is not a factor, I would go for the PIII. It is faster but more expensive. Does the performance boost justify the price, probably not. I guess it also depends on the type of motherboard your running too.

If you plan to use it for 3D games, go PIII.
