USB Driver Installation Problem
By error I removed my PCI USB from the Device Manager. I've tried re-installing it, but I can't get Windows to find the drivers anywhere on my harddrive or Windows 98 CD. Could someone offer some help to a frustrated user. Thanks a million in advance. Please email for more info.

Make sure USB is enabled in Bios.
Reboot to Windows, and if not still found, go to control panel, Add/Remove Hardware, and follow the steps.

Depending on your brand of motherboard, you may have to install USB drivers from the drivers that came with the system. First, though, try reinstalling the USB and point it to C:\windows\system, C:\windows\system32, and c:\windows\system32\drivers when it looks for drivers. If that fails, try pointing it to c:\windwos\sysbckup. Usually the drivers are still there. Good luck!
