[RESOLVED] DVD probs???

hi,
am avin probs with my new memorex trimaxx 200
CDR/DVD rom
CDR bit workin fine
DVD wont work at all????

i ave used power dvd and a few other programs
do these programs include MPEG 2 decoders?

if they do i aint got a clue what is wrong??

it juss dosent seem to be reading the dvd,s i am putting into the drive
but reads normal cds fine?

any help greatly appreciated

Have you verified it's correct Region?
For example, you may trying to play Region 2 DVDs, while your software supports Region 1 ones.
If you've checked that, try another DVD Player Software.

Some of them are:
PowerDVD 2.55
AsusDVD 2000 (similar with the above)
WinDVD 2000 (very good. Try to find it!)
