Outlook Express will not open !
some how I broke Outlook Express... when I try to open it I get the following message...
"Outlook Express could not be started because MSOE.DLL could not be loaded"
I am using Win2000 and IE6.0 not sure the OE version,I assume it is the latest that came with IE6.0
Any idea how I can repair this mess ??

Reinstall OE. To do this you will have to reinstall IE but I think there is a repair option. Try this first and if it doesn't work then do the full reinstall.

Could be that the registry values for Outlook Express are set incorrectly and / or corrupt. If you are comfortable editing the registry then you might try the following:
First completely uninstall Outlook Express: start >>settings>>control panel>>Add/Remove Programs. Click on the Windows Setuptab and click to clear the Microsoft Outlook Express check box, and then click ok.
Using the Registry Editor remove this key to completely remove your previous version of Outlook Express:
HKEY_USERS\DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express
(Just to be on the safe side you could use the export feature of Regedit to backup the above key before removing it.)
Next, reinstall the latest version of Outlook Express from the:
<a href="http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com" target="_blank"> Windows Update site</a>
Good luck!
