Run the Windows Update as their is an issue with the Paralell IOMEGA ZIP Drives that a downloadable patch is available for. Also run the Guest software off of the IOmega tools CD.

You can download the latest drivers HERE for all WIndows operating systems. Iomega Version 2.8 drivers and software.

Doesn't W2K SP1 fix the Iomega ZIP disk problem? It seems to me that Microsoft integrated that fix into SP1...

You are correct Steve, but I don't know if the poster who asked the question is using a dialup or broadband access, which is why I suggested the individual file

Ok, I'll add to the origianl question..
I have a machine running Windows 2000, specs are: PIII 800 on ASUS P3BF board, 128 MB Mem, 10 GB hard drive (5GB FAT - 5 GB NTFS partitions), 48X CDRom, floppy, Zip 100 internal, 32 MB AGP video, sound, and Intel NICs on a Novell network.
The internal zips are not seen in Disk Manager and I need to reassign the drive letter associated with the zip because the zip is interfering with a network mapped drive letter.
I've installed Iomega's drivers, etc. no help.
How can I assign a specific letter to the zip?

Techiechick...in control panel, computer managment, disk management.. there is an option to change assignment of drive letters for a drive...hope that helps.
