    Post Bug Check

Anbody ever see this bug check code

    0x0000001e, 0xc0000005, 0x8049efef, 0x00000000, 0x00000ff8.

What happens is the computer boots gets to the log in screen and when you enter the password for any of the accounts (administrator, guest, etc) it blue screens and then restarts. any ideas would be helpful.

I had a Win2000 server that was randomly rebooting from a bug check. I read posts elsewhere of other people with the same problem.

I fixed it by updating the drivers (in my case for a printer, in their cases video drivers or other devices)

I would find updated drivers for any of your hardware. Maybe Network Card drivers due to the timing of logon+bluescreen=bugcheck.

    ~good luck

on the blue screen, there is usually a string such as "INACCESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE". Write that down, then do a google search. That will give you a more specific solution.
