    how to share printers in windows 2000 to a windows 98 machine?

    click START -> SETTINGS -> PRINTERS

    right click your printer and click properties
    Click the sharing TAB
    Click Shared as:
    give the share a name (ex: Print1)

    Now if you dont see the sharing tab then you need to insatll the File and Printer Sharing for Micorosoft Networks

    Then in windows 98 just add a printer, click network printer and click on the printer you shared.
