    Post ACPI / Performance loss?

    I am not having problems, but I do have a question.

    Is there any Performance loss utilizing ACPI under Win2K? I want to make sure I am going to gain some performance, at least save on resources and memory utilization. Just making sure! before I go ahead with the re-install Win2K under HAL standard pc.

    Never tried W2K without but I'm as satisfied as I can be until they develop us some hardware that will consistently give us real-time video with programs that launch faster than I can reach for my mouse....
