[RESOLVED] win2k and modem connect rate

I installed win2k premium and my connect rate went from 44 to 28 immediatly. I went to the us robotics page and couldnt find any updated drivers fo a USR 56k vice win. Am I going to have to go and buy a new modem. Also my visioneer 3100usb scanner wont work. Again driver problems. I like the 2k upgrade. It is a much smoother program than the 98, It just seems that I should be able to correct this modem problem by adding drivers....if I could get the correct one. Can any one help??? Thanks

About the modem I'm not sure. But as to the scanner your out of luck. I have the 5100USB and all it does is sit and take up space. Visioneer is not going to make drivers for 2000. Acording to the site, they are working on them (same message since 2000 first came out). If they had any intention of making drivers they would have posted some bata drivers.
