[RESOLVED] yamaha crw4416s problem

I have recently installed a yamaha crw4416s onto an iwill 2930u+ scsi - the drive is not recognising any cd's in the drive (either data or blank) have upgraded all firmware/software and tried nero/discjuggler/clonecd and problem remains - any ideas boys - i'm stumped

Also, does your CD-ROM show up in My Computer? And, which OS are you using?

One more question...does your SCSI card have any other devices on it...do they work? How about terminations...SCSI devices can be real particular about that. Just a couple more things to chew on...

thanks 4 quick reply donj - i am running on win98 and yeah have checked termination - only have my cdrw on scsi - but will try assigning another id (yamaha defaults at id3)
