Win 2k - MSCONFIG
Does Windows 2000 have a program like Windows 98, Me MSCONFIG. If soooooo what is it.....

You can use MSCONFIG.exe. You just have to copy it from a WIN 9x machine and you can run it from Win 2K. You will get a few error messages but it will work for the most part to select which programs start automatically. I don't know of any other program that is like it. I use it on my machines.

I tryed it with XP's msconfig and it worked great

As an alternative you can download a free Startup control panel <a href="http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml" target="_blank">here</a>
