ActiveX Hell !!
Oh man! I have a problem that started recently with some pages on the internet, using IE 5.5.
I noticed it particularily when I want to download something, I click on a link, and the page goes blank, with a small icon on it. When you click the icon, a popup appears telling me theres an error, and asks if I want to go to Microsofts ActiveX page. Meanwhile the address in the address bar of IE, has the full path of the downloadable file printed in it. So the only way I can then download is to copy the address, and the download process starts.
I went to the activeX gallery and got all of them, but still no change.....WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON ????
Does anyone have any idea?
