[RESOLVED] yamaha crw4416s problem - again!!!
people - i really still need your help. my yammy still does not want to recognise cd's in drive - have tried all the usuals (termination - firmware updates - burning software updates etc etc - looked on all forums..........yawn) am running on:
PCChips 590 mobo
AMD K6-2 500mhz
IWill 2930U+ SCSI
128mb mem
Win 98
Toshiba XM6202B 32x CD-ROM
.....and of course the yammy crw4416s
again i say

Have you checked it on another SCSI controller? If not, you should try it.
If that wouldn't work and everything else is ok (SCSI Termination, Drivers, Windows, CD-R Software), then probably your CD-R is going to die.
