win2k problems
Hello.. I have just upgraded to win2k pro from win98. I have extensive problems when i attempt to run my games and some of my applications. I always get the following error message:
The instruction at "0x77e9a013" reference memory at "0x00000009". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program
Please help me!

Although I hate this kind of upgrades, check MS website for any compatibility patches available.

You may also want to check the games web site and see if they have a Win2000 patch. Roller Coaster Tycoon is the first one that I had to download after my upgrade. Keep in mind alot of the games were not writern for 2000 so if it was pre-windows 2000 you may need a patch. You also may want to try running service pack one for windows 2000. It does seem to clear up the one or two bug's I have run into.
