    Resolved [RESOLVED] Burning MP3 problem!!!

I have WIN ME,it seems that there are few burning programs that work with this OS--I have tried my friends Hotburn with his Sony100EX USB-----won't work--I have tried Easy CD creator 4.02e--this works but burns the MP3's at 14H in audio format. I need my audio cd's to be the same quality as the MP3's. WTF??? So I have made several audio CD's that sound like used tapes. Has this had to anyone else? Solution?? Cause???

P.S. I have set quality in pref. to 44.1KHz and have tried burning at diff. speeds---always burns at 14H
    Thankyou from cornman

That never happens to me. But some thing you can check is what is the mp3's kbps & kHz that might have something to do with it, Another thing what program are you using to convert mp3 to wav. Also you might want to try nero burning ROM works great and easy to use.

Another good program to try is CDRWin (made by goldensoft), but that is assuming you aren't having any hardware conflicts; however, this sounds like a complete software screw-up.

It's possible the program you are using is not properly recognizing the CD writer, and that is the focus of your frustrations. I would try a few different programs, CDRWin, Nero, maybe even NTI cd pro, and see if that changes any results.

    Good luck!

Music Match 6 also does a good job of burning MP3's to CD audio.
