Download it?? That'll never happen. You need to contact Microsoft and see if they'll have mercy on your soul.
Good Luck!

What you are being told is its called piracy if you download windows 2000. IF you own a legit copy microsoft will probably replace it. I've had to do it before and was only charged $20. So if its legit your cool if its piracy your SOL.

We don't permit piracy on these boards. Contact microsoft if you have a licensed copy! Otherwise, you SOL as stated before.

You did? I was afraid people would take it personally and that's not how it was meant. Perhaps I'll change back.

I kinda prefer K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple Stupid)
but that's just me
Regarding the Topic - Microsoft Will give you support if you have a "bad" cd.
all you need to do is call thme and make sure you are the licensed owner of this copy (with this serial number)
They will probably charge you S&H only.

What about a Win 98 SE OEM disc? My is scratched up too. Does Microsoft give support for full OEM versions, too (it's not a "restore" disc). Anyone have their number? I'll gladly return the ME upgrade disc for the S&H!!
