video card help needed

First here is my system:
Win2k sp2
Abit vp6
dual p3 1ghz
75 IBM deskstar
Intel 10/100 S Management
2gig pc 133 memory
Nokia 445Xi(monitor)

issue:
I am trying to install a Leadtek GeForce 2 Pro. I can install the drivers but when I go to change the video settings I get a blank screen(the hd activity stops at this point too(hard lock). I reboot and get a blank screen right when the logon screen should appear(also no more hd activity). I can get in in safe mode and remove the device and reload it using different drivers and/or the same drivers. I have also pulled out all my other cards and tried to boot with no result. I have tried installing hardware management software that came with the card, still blank screen.

Note: I had a Voodoo 5 in the machine before and it ran just fine. <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

did you completely uninstalled the Voodoo 5 Drivers ?

it might have left some keys in the registry..

try to install Nvidia Refrence drivers. Don't forget to install the latest VIA 4in1 drivers ..

Check on the manufacturer's web site if the driver is designed for Win2k and,also ,for dual processors systems !!!
I had a problem with a card's driver which are not compatible with dual processors systems !
