    Post Rebooting as Administrator

I can't seem to figure this one out. I havent had any problems with restarting my comp. But I was updating Adaptec Easy CD Creator and I was given a message that it would be best to log in as in the Administrator before upgrading, so I loged off and reloged in as the Administrator, but ever since then I cannot restart the system. it just goes to a black screen with a flashing curser in the upper lefthand corner.

What setting have I got wrong in the administrator that is different then when I am logged in as Mike. I'm the only one that uses the computer, and I'd like to stay logged on as the Admin. so I don't hve to switch just to upgrade or load a new program.

    Win2k, soltek 54U1-A, 350mhz, 128 meg mem.
Computers are like life, constantly changing, and without change we would become STAGNET

by any chance are you running NAV? if you are get in to the machine with your other login and uninstall easy cd creator then disable or remove NAV then reinstall the adaptec software and see if this fixes you problem.

Thanks Storm, but I had the NAV Disabled at the time of instalation, and it was giving me the problem before I installed the Adaptec. I installed the Adaptec in the safe mode. then rebooted. Thanks for your help
