    Red face Annoying modem speed info

    Hello, being new to Win2000 could someone please tell me how to get rid of the annoying little info box that displays by the modem icon in the taskbar after I log on to the internet, its only there for a few seconds, but surely there is a way to disable it, TIA

    Network and Dial-up Connections
    YourDialUpConnection
    Properties
    Uncheck "Show icon in taskbar once connected" [or whatever it actually says - I can't be bothered to look!]
