Vshield ERROR in Win 2K Pro
I'm running McAfee virus scan version 5.21 in my computer running Windows 2000 Pro under NTFS file system . Well, it happens when I'm logged as the Administrator, all runs fine; but when I log as a Restricted User I get this error on my screen " VSHIELD
ERROR ! VIRUS DATA FILE ARE MISSING UNABLE TO SCAN DOWNLOADED FILE" and the option to click OK.......that happens too when I open the Internet Explorer browser (v. 5.5) logged as a Restricted User ... What am I supposed to do to avoid that keeps happening?
That doesn't happen when I'm logged as the Administrator, only happens when I'm logged as an USER .
Any help trying to solve this problem will be appreciated ..

That happened to me a lot, too. All I could do was reinstall VShield. I wish I knew what the problem was. I have tried installing it with all users having equal access rather than restricted access and that seemed to help.

Does it mean to install and modify (please note both) you need to be logged in as an Admin ?
